Mr. Sri-Kumar's comments are insightful. I particularly like his recall of the impact that the Smoot-Hawley Act had on fomenting the great depression. This is a history lesson that should be taken to heart by the isolationists and protectionists among us.

I want to study the article in more detail, but it will definitely inspire a post on Going Global with a link to your post. As always, thanks for ensuring that comments such as Mr. Sri-Kumar's remain part of the on-going dialog on issues of critical importance to internatioanl business.
