Small Business Exports: Where They Stand

John Tozzi, our friend and colleague at BusinessWeek, reports on "Small Business Exports Edge Up."

“Ninety-eight percent of U.S. exporters are small and medium-sized enterprises but these exporters have historically represented only 30 percent of U.S. export value,” Tim Truman, a spokesman for the Commerce Department’s International Trade Association, said in an email.

This is a great article! Small businesses seem to be on the increase as posckets of the worlds economy is coming out of recession. I started up a virtual office in London to get things going in the UK. Its the perfect way to set up a small business in another country.
