Around the World, Kids Can Learn By Tinkering

What happens when you give a roomful of kids a stack of tablet computers?  With no instruction whatsoever, you'd be surprised how fast students figure things out.  That information is according to Leslie Engle Young, who was at a schoolhouse in Agorhome, Ghana when she witnessed this firsthand.

Young is the director of impact for Pencils of Promise, a New York City non-profit that has built nearly 250 schools across Ghana, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Laos.
